Lacto-fermentation

We’ll make sauerkraut, kimchi, dill pickled cucumbers and preserved lemons. You’ll learn about the science and practicalities of this fascinating culinary science and get jars of your creations to keep plus recipe sheets.

Pasta

Silky fresh pasta is easier than you think. Learn the basics or, if your pasta machine already gets a regular outing, enhance your skills and produce something truly impressive.

If I’m coming to yours, I’ll rock up with all the ingredients and bring any bits of kit you might not have. You’ll learn plenty of tips and tricks, get recipe cards to keep and (of course!) some delicious food to eat.

Lessons are approximately three hours long and start at £199 for two. Vouchers are available and make lovely presents for the would-be-chef in your life or it’s a fun and (reasonably) civilised way to spend a hen/stag party or a birthday celebration. Introduction to Lactofermentation

Fermented things are super good for your microbiome but also they’re super delicious. This course will cover the the science and practicalities of creating your own lactofermented pickles. We’ll make sauerkraut, kimchi, preserved lemons, fermented hot sauce and seasonal pickles.

Already a dab hand with the pasta machine? Then it’s time to step things up a notch. We’ll cover coloured and stained glass doughs and make some more advanced filled shapes including my favourite wow-factor starter, ravioli al uovo.
